By Air

The nearest airport is Luxembourg Airport (LUX), located about 10–12 km away — typically a 20-minute drive. Direct flights are available from many major European cities.

• Taxis are readily available outside the terminal; budget approximately €35–55 for a ride to Hesperange (airport and time-based supplements can apply). For a better rate, we recommend Uber or Webtaxi
• Car rental is available at the airport if you prefer to drive
• Bus line 29 connects the airport to Luxembourg City (including Gare Centrale) and continues directly to Hesperange
• Tram T1 runs from the airport toward the city centre at frequent intervals (about every 10 minutes)

By Train

Luxembourg’s main train station — Gare de Luxembourg / Gare Centrale — has strong international connections, including a direct TGV to Paris and onward connections toward Brussels and Frankfurt.

• Taxi from the station to Hesperange: about 6 km, typically 8–12 minutes driving (15 minutes is a safe estimate)
• Bus from Gare Centrale routière: roughly 9–18 minutes to Hesperange depending on line and traffic (20 minutes is a reasonable expectation)

By Car

Parking at City Hall of Hesperange (ceremony)

• Street parking nearby — free for up to 4 hours with a parking disk (disc obligatoire)
• Covered paid parking just after the city hall: 474 N3, 5886 Alzingen Hesperange

Parking at Le Royal Luxembourg (cocktail, dinner & dance)

• Le Royal can accommodate parking on-site if arranged in advance — please ask ahead
• Nearest public car parks:

• Le Royal Hotels & Resorts (Highly Recommended) — 12 Boulevard Royal, Ville-Haute. Since our cocktail, dinner, and dance are hosted here, your bed will be exactly 0 minutes away at the end of the night!
• Sofitel Luxembourg Le Grand Ducal — 40 Boulevard d’Avranches, Luxembourg City. Stunning views of the valley, just a 5-minute taxi or 15–20-minute walk from the evening venue.

Mid-Range

• INNSiDE by Meliá Luxembourg (Highly Recommended) — 12 Rue Henri M. Schnadt, Gasperich (Cloche d’Or). A great modern hotel about 10 minutes’ drive to the ceremony in Hesperange, and 15 minutes from the evening venue.
• Hotel Parc Beaux-Arts — 1 Rue Sigefroi, Ville-Haute. A beautiful 4-star boutique hotel in the historic old town, just a 10-minute walk to the evening venue.
• Novotel Luxembourg Centre — 35 Rue du Laboratoire, Luxembourg City. Conveniently located near the main train station — 10-minute drive or 20-minute walk to the evening venue.

Budget-Friendly

• Ibis Luxembourg Sud — Rue de Turi, Livange. Just a 5-minute drive from our ceremony in Hesperange, and about a 15-minute taxi ride from the evening venue.
• Youth Hostel Luxembourg City — 2 Rue du Fort Olisy, Pfaffenthal. A fantastic modern budget option — about a 15-minute walk (or a short bus ride) to the evening venue.

We kindly request cocktail attire for our wedding celebration.

• For guests: Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or suits are perfect
• Weather: May in Luxembourg is typically mild (15–20°C / 59–68°F), but bring a light jacket for the evening
• Footwear: Comfortable shoes are recommended as there will be dancing! Good news — there is no gravel at either venue, so heels are perfectly fine
